To Hell and back.
Well, the trip to visit Dad wasn’t all bad, but it was hot as Hell.
The temps got up over 110 at one point. Chase drove some of the time both ways. He’s a pretty good driver. My grandpa must really be careful and different with us than with his kids, because he wouldn’t let me drive. So, we stayed in Oakdale, which was somewhere around 102 degrees. The hotel was nice and we even had internet. After the complementary breakfast, we headed to Jamestown to Sierra Conservation. We managed to get 7th and made it in by 9:00. My grandfather just decided to leave us with my dad, which was fine by us. We dicussed everything that we were doing wrong and what we were doing right. My dad can always straighten us out and I think we’re all going to be okay. As long as we watch out for my mom and go out of the way to help her, we’ll all be okay. I don’t know about Garrett, though. Basically I was told to work hard with IB and football (and maybe drop IB) and not worry about getting a job. I got excited because my dad actually supports us getting a new car, like the Silverado. He helped us out a lot. I really miss him and I hope he can get out soon. I mean getting out in 2011 is quite a while away. But then again, I would be 21 at that time. Drinks on me!!
