Hey. What? Update? Oh. Yeah. Sure. Here.
Since we last saw each other, there has been very little to speak of, hence the lack of updates. UNTIL NOW.
A couple weeks ago, my only remaining grandfather passed away. Obviously, since he lived in New York, I only saw him a handful of times in my life. Still, I have fond memories of him. He was a kind man, fun to be around. I can see where my dad got his sense of humor from. He was also an extremely generous man, always giving large amounts of money for Christmas. That generosity has even extended beyond his death.
He was good enough to include me and my family into his will. He has bequeathed to me and my sister (and all his grandchildren) $1000 each, which is…extraordinary to say the least. I will be taking some of that money to buy a desk chair as glorious as Garrett’s, and tucking the rest away for God knows what. To my mother and his remaining sons, he has given a quarter of his remaining estate. We heard today that his estate was worth just over $400,000, so my mother will be receiving about $100,000 in the near future. I suppose the weight of such a number hasn’t hit me yet. It’s really beyond the spectrum of my imagination. There has been talk of purchasing a new car, and I was told I could buy a Wii, so for now, things are indeed looking quite “up.”
To finish off this long overdue update, I will say that Jackass Number Two was the greatest time I ever had watching a man plunge beer out of another man’s ass. Good stuff. Good, hilarious, disgusting stuff.
