So, here we are, first update of the new year. It’s not going to be that substantial, but oh well.
A while ago I bought Dead Rising for the 360. I was very much looking forward to partaking of removing the heads of the walking dead with various pointy implements. Except that the game was nign unplayable on my old, blurry TV. I couldn’t read the mission objectives to further the story, you see. So I took steps to remedy the situation. I ordered a fancy new monitor (17″ flat screen courtesy of Dell) along with a 360 VGA cable and BOOM. High-def gloriousness. Now I can not only read the text, I can garner even more joy from an already joyous act: relieving zombies of their appendages. Come over and see it sometime, it’s great.
We are less than a week away from the release of the Burning Crusade, and it seems rather surreal. I’ve been playing it for several months now and though I’ve gotten two characters to 70 I have yet to fulfill my ravenous hunger for more lewts. I am very much looking forward to rolling Blood Elves with the Lloyds and Others, along with getting my 60s up to 70 again, and tackling Karazhan. I would venture a guess that I am quite prepared. Yes. Quite.
